I train 5 to ...Steve, Thank you for your comment. I train 5 to 6 days per week.....I have short training days of one hour swims and every couple of weeks a long swim day of 3+ hours. My swim training is similar training pattern of a marathon runner. They don't run a marathon every day. They run short distances each day and every 2 weeks a long run. Likewise, I swim instead of run. As far as competition, I prefer solo marathon swims, however I have competed in the Alcatraz swim, Great Chesapeake Bay Swim, and the Peaks to Portland.
