No finish today.

Pat Gallant-Charette's crew reports she had to be pulled unable to break thru current She is OK but very cold. She is alert and oriented. We have wrapped her up and have heating pads in strategic locations

Even those of us that put in some of those ocean miles can only imagine how tough these swims can be. I suspect that every sting that would have led most of us to quit only motivates Pat to push harder. Going so far must make it that much harder but I suspect once the blood warms again the same Pat that we all admire will be there. I am sure every one of these swims is a learning experience and that pat will emerge a little wiser, a little tougher and no less focused than in the past. See you soon Pat, you are one hell of an athlete and an inspiration to us all

Amazing job, regardless of finish. Few in the world could attempt what you just did. Rest well.
